Cherry Flavour Concrete Innovative Biomaterial for Thermal Insulation

Cherry Flavour concrete is a study on the assessments of the thermal conductivity of cement realized with cherry kernel as lightweight recycling aggregates. The study conducted has put in evidence the lower thermal conductivity of the mixture containing cherry kernel, which are most suitable as a recycling aggregate for non-structural castings for thermal insulation. At the end the study showed that the mix made with cherry kernel results most suitable as a recycling aggregate for non-structural castings for the lower thermal conductivity. Other advantages are: the recycling of the food supply chain products, economic advantages for the lower cost of kernel of cherry and the energy saving, the cancellation of negative impact that the making of expanded clay cause.
